Paradox provides clients with reimbursement sheets (superbills) to request reimbursement from their insurance company, and you can contact us anytime for help answering any insurance questions you may have. We do not accept insurance directly. It is important to know that although we accept HSA/FSA cards, your insurance company may not accept the charge or reimburse you for the service. You may inquire with your insurance company to learn about your options for coverage. When you call them, please ask the following:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Is the cost of psychological testing covered?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is a referral needed from a primary care physician?
- Is pre-authorization required?
